Opportunity: E-commerce company BlendJet was launching a new marketplace, featuring 100+ products from partner brands. The company wanted this new site to communicate key marketing messages while also adopting a fun, casual, and personable brand voice.

What I did: I worked under the Creative Director to write product descriptions, headlines, and landing pages for every product in the marketplace. BlendJet execs loved the new delightful yet informative brand voice, and wanted to adopt it across all customer touch points. I developed a brand voice style guide to help their customer service reps delightfully engage with customers and commenters on YouTube, IG, Facebook, and email.

yep… we lost an accent and a hyphen when migrating the copy onto the site. RIP.
(but seriously, they’re fixing it.)

It’s the company policy to respond to every single comment. The customer service reps cover this when the other writer and I aren’t, and the reps were overwhelmed trying to find clever responses and maintaining the brand voice. So we created a trove of responses to frequent comments and questions, and a whole lot of blender puns.
